Farmscape is an urban farming company located in the Los Angeles area. We work with customers and landscapers to set up high-yielding vegetable gardens for residences, senior centers, schools, and communities and then maintain these gardens on a weekly basis. Our comprehensive organic-method maintenance includes: successive planting, pest and disease control, weeding, soil amendment, and harvesting. Farmscape was founded in Claremont, CA in 2008 and first opened its doors for the summer season of 2009. Two new locations opened in 2010, one in Pasadena and one in west Los Angeles.
Farmscape aims to increase the accessibility of high-quality homegrown produce in the Los Angeles metro area. We will do this by eliminating the effort and complexity required to install or maintain a productive vegetable garden. We believe expanding organic, urban gardening methods increases food security and improves the ecological footprint of the food supply. We also believe heirloom tomatoes from your own yard are tastier and healthier than anything brought to you by a sixteen-wheeler.
